I try to watch the teen sitcoms of today, but they will never hold a candle to “Saved By The Bell.” I mean, I was sad when Zack and Kelly broke up. I never wanted to see Screech and Zack fight down by the willow trees. I always wondered if AC Slater only owned two pairs of pants and why did Max leave The Max?
You CANNOT forget about the entire Stacey Carosi (then/now) story arc. The episode at the end with the fireworks… pure gold. Plus AC Slater competing with Screech in the obstacle course and all the hijinks ensued. They simply DO NOT write shows like this anymore. Sad.
*Sidenote - it’s IMPOSSIBLE to find pics of Leah Remini as Stacey Carosi. For reals - try to find some. I think Scientology is behind it.
